Merimbula & Pambula

After a mandatory milkshake stop in Bodalla, we wound our way along the coast past the picturesque waterways of Narooma and on to Merimbula & Pambula. With clear warm days and cool nights, we enjoyed exploring the Merimbula boardwalk - spying crabs, toad fish and oyster racks. The caravan park at Pambula Beach was a kids paradise; 3 trampolines, a waterpark, jumping pillow, putt putt course and buggys. Above all else, however, Thomas just loves digging in the dirt and seeing what treasures he can find (mostly old bottle top lids or rocks he thinks are magic crystals).

We also spent a day at Magic Mountain in Merimbula. We all had a great time on the toboggan, water slides, roller coaster, go-karts and (wait for it) yet more putt putt golf. It was a beautiful day and there were no queues.

In amongst all this, we are now getting into the swing of learning in the van. We spend 1hr - 1.5hr each morning doing a range of literacy and numeracy activities. We are very thankful for the support of Thomas and Sienna's teachers. We are also using the SeeSaw app, which allows the kids to upload photos, videos, text and audio files for their teachers and friends at school to see and respond to. Sienna is proving to be a prolific SeeSaw user.
